Z-Wave 3.0 Engine - can't open and set Parameters

Recommended Posts

I had tested Aeotec Smart Switch 6 on Z-Wave 3.0 engine

Added to Z-Wave network successfully is S0 mode.

Device is not shows energy consumption.

So, I try to add some parameters.

But can't open Parameters Tab, always receiving an error:

Error 500 - Internal Server Error

A problem while performing the operation.

Cleared browser cache - still error.

This effect is related to not configured properly CC Configuration.
In this beta this behavior is changed, if there is no CC Configuration in the model this tab is grayed out.

Just to make sure - please reinterview the device, if there will be no CC Configuration detected this tab won't be accessible.

  • Tried to reconnect very close to hub - same result - device is configured, but can't open and set Parameters.

But - I prepare and upload my own template - and now is no error in Parameters tab.

But device can't show energy consumption even with parameters set.

or parameters can't be set, but Z-Wave engine not informing about it  ?

So, as I understand, it can be fixed only on Aeotec side - to add CC Configuration ?

If the parameters are possible to be uploaded - its ok.
I assume that error 500 does not occur now.

If meters are not available something is wrong with CC Meter itself - during interview something not working ok on device side and because of that values from Meter class are not visible.
As I can see association CC is also not configured property (grayed out).

Please give me exact version of this Smart Switch (Z-Wave version) and I will check it out.
If device does not fully comply with specification some workarounds will be needed in engine.
