Thank you for sharing your case. I'm using gateway connection too. I'll think I'll hold off this update and wait to see if any success cases respond.

I did - separate Master and Slave.

    and all working good

i never had real issues (except these created by firmware itself, like not reporting states in previuos versions), from my customers only one is having always issues (big installation).

On the other hand, for own projects i do not use master/slave, too risky, unless the customer sign that on paper.

  • OK, i will wait for response from fibaro

if it can't be fixed with the new firmware i have to chose between run both hc3 as master of get rid of them.

How did you update Master and Slave separately?  Which one did you update first?  Please share your experience.  Thanks.

First - I try to update Master + Slave on same time , Master go fine, but Slave controller stuck on "Downloading" stage

Then I access directly to Slave from web browser ( with login + password, as usual ) re-download firmware and update only Slave

All go smoothly now and after reboot Slave continue to show in Master's Gateway Configuration

I did upgrade the firmware today.  The update process went ok with no problem.   After the system restart, the slave gateway seems ok, I can login with no problem.  However, the master gateway, once I log in for about 30 seconds it will alert ERROR 502,503 and require me to reboot home center all the time and kick me out to the log in page to log in again then I can use only 30 seconds again.  I also notice that a lot of devices from Slave gateway (about 60%) appeared "unconfigured" and a lot of devices connect directly to master gateway appear "disconnected".  I also notice that in the firmware update page there is a red line saying incompatible.

I think my result is that same as @akatar

I open ticket #70186.  Fibaro support, please help fix my system as soon as you can.  I already enable remote access.  I backed up the system locally right before I upgrade.  If you can't fix the system, please restore the system for me.
