Aeotec Range Extender 7 keeps turning off

Alfamonk

Question

Hi everyone!

I have a few Fibaro devices outside in my garden shed, and they are usually found as dead nodes.

So I have bought 2 Aeotec Range Extender 7. One I have installed in the shed, and one right outside my house.

I have installed them both, and they worked as they should... no more dead nodes.

But since yesterday I have noticed that both of my extenders are shown as being turned off. If I turn them on, they turn off automatically.

I have noticed there are not templates and no device parameters for them. But they worked. Now they don't.

Can you please help me fix this issue?

Thanks in advance!

That's odd, as far as i know you can not turn off a repeater.

Do they still work if homecenter shows them as turned off?

see picture for my repeater in hc3

I am sorry, but I don't know how to get in that area in your screenshot. Can you please point me out where to look in HC2?

I don't own a hc2, but it's wise to sent pictures to support and point them to this thread. it's not normal, i think, that a repeater can turn off

and as you can see, hc2 is not recognising the device correctly.

my hc3 also does it wrong but won't turn it off and has on/off buttons.
