Pollen is a fine powder produced by trees and plants
Pollen can severely affect people, especially those with different ailments such as asthma and respiratory issues.
It can aggravate these existing conditions or cause these issues in high risk groups

Grass Pollen: Pollen grains from grasses
Mold Spores: The fungus produces spores that can become airborne

Radweed Pollen: Ragweeds are annual and perennial herbs and shrubs. A single plant may produce about a billion grains of pollen per season.
Tree Pollen: Pollen from trees such as Birch and Oak

The QuickApp provides a risk evaluation with levels in particles/m³

  • Thanks @ImaginaPixJS

I need to figure out how to present the 5-day forecast in a nice way.

AccuWeather also needs a locationKey. The QuickApp retrieves the locationKey based on the Longitude and Lattitude of the Homecenter (but still needs some testing).

And of course I am curious of the values AccuWeather sends, how valuable they are. The Ambee Pollen Quickapp also gives these values, but Ambee recently changed their free/pricing rules.

I dont have a user-case for this (yet). But i will install, and try this for sure. Just for practice, and check the code (to see if you did something wrong ?) - Just kidding, thanks cant wait to try it.

Zo te lezen krijgen ze de data van PlumeLabs, en voor de pollen is dat Europa en de UK.

Ow, sorry that was in Dutch :)

Apparently they get the data from PlumeLabs, and for the pollen that is Europe and the UK.

Thanks! But i think i have enough pollen action going on with your other app ?

But then again, if your sensitive to pollen or hay fever i think this is a must have.

    For now its safe :)

  • Just in case one changes its free amount of Api calls, like Ambee. Now we still have a choice. And lets see how accurate the different providers are.
