Light scene with two motion sensors

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

I'm not getting my scene to work properly so I need some help.

I want my lights to turn on if the variable is now equal to night, if the lux of one sensor is lower then 13 and is on of the two motion sensors is tripped.

Then the lights can turn of when both motion sensors are save for 5 minutes.

See the scene I created but is only working if I set the two sensors in a device group but then they work as an "and" state so both sensors need to be triggert before the lights turn on.

Hopefully someone can help me.

use a variable for the pirs (example: create var pir move/safe

scene: if pir 1 of pir 2 is breached -> change var pir to move

change settings in the pir itself, set safe time to 5 minutes!

scene

if time is night and var pir is move

then light on

etc

only tick trigger on var pir!! that should trigger the scene, not day/night etc

  • Thanks,

I was thinking about creating variables but after playing around with LUA I got it to work like this.

The thing is to get de "or" statement inside the "and" statement.

    But thanks...
