RGBW2 Controlled Via Switch changes colour

puma

Question

I have an RGBW led strip connected to a RGBW2 controller I like the default to just be the W channel at 255 and the RGB to be 0.

I can set it via the fibaro app or web interface however every time I turn the strip on with the switch it sets it to a different colour for some reason. R=63 B=63 G=63 W=255.

Is there a way that I can make the switch just turn on the last used colour?

I don't think that can be done out of the box.with a parameter setting. But, can be achieved with a scene.

You could create 4 global variables, one for each colour intensity.  Then create a scene triggered on double press:

IF lights are off, THEN turn them on and set to colour values from the global variables

IF lights are on, THEN store current light values and switch off.

Tell us if you get it working?

unless you turn it on with color and not just turn on command.
