FGS 224 - Q output stuck in close contact

zwmaster

Question

I have some FGS 224 installed in eutonomy box that do not open contact after a while - they  worked for few hours either thru S click or Zwave command no probelems , sometimes days

but get stuck in close contact mode for no reason..... Power recycling won't help.

interesting enought , I hear the relay clicking but the Q output is constantly passing the load from input

Those are 220v powered and smartstart paired

Anyone witnessing this issue on FDG224 ? I'm hoping this is configuration related

Thank you

Hi @zwmaster,

Try to hit the FGS-224 from all sides. Stuck relays do not work after power cycle, but after you physically hit them. No hammer, screwdriver handle is enough.

If they got stuck again, then RMA.

Best regards,

Jakub

what @jakub.jezek said.

What load do you have connected? Sounds like it might be too much and it is melting the contacts.  There are other devices that can handle higher loads....several recent threads on here about them.
