I have an interesting idea.

Maybe the fibaro team will add something super-needed to the interface.

I've thought about it for a long time, but in HC2 this is the last possible year that can be set to 2021.

Is it time to change to HC3?

I hope that similarly great is not done in HC3?

Please login or register to see this spoiler.

Is it possible to change this date outside the interface?

Maybe lua?

@XTeK

Sorry, but your HC2 seems to have reached the end of life date.

There was probably no one on Fibaro who thought that an HC2 could work for such a long time ?

    Hi @XTeK ,

Until you pointed out this "feature" I never checked this settings. This is because I have set HC2 to get current time from internet and have it like that from beginning:

It seems that it is now the only way to have correct date and time on HC2. Other solution is to switch to HC3 :-)

Unfortunately I can't change it via LUA.

    Hi @XTeK ,

Here is solution for your problem with date:

    1) First set "Set date and Time": to Manual Settings. Press Save button and wait for HC2 to reboot

    2) Use this code to change year:

Please login or register to see this code.

I used VD button, but should also work from scene. HC2 will reboot and proper year should be visible under the weather icon on home page. Date will still be wrong in location settings, but who cares :-P

    3) Now you can go back to location settings and set "Set date and Time" to download time from internet. Synchronization is corrected in latest 4.620 firmware

    4) Wait for HC2 to reboot and that's it :-)

You are the MASTER as always. ?

I did not know how to formulate the command in lua just to replace.

Probably someone will need the code.

    HI all,

I found another solution to that issue - just use Firefox Web Developer Tools (WDT0) to edit the interface and add needed year:

Open Fibaro Location Settings in FF (Settings -> More Tools), and turn on WDT. With the tool

Please login or register to see this image.

/monthly_2022_01/image.png.e3830f30734ec22a70b7e013b1c5d4d4.png" /> select the year dropdown list. You will see this line highlighted:

Click on three dots - the html code will expand, reviling the year list. Then right-click on the list, select "Edit as HTML" and add the year you want:

    Go back to the interface:

    There you go!

    Your welcome!

    Regards,

    Piotr
