QA for regular exporting data from HC3 to InfluxDB 2.x

For license key I need your HC3 (or HC3L or Yubii) serial number: HC3-xxxxxxxx

Ideally include your device serial number and QA name in the payment note.

 

QA is sending data based on events and also in regular intervals from HC3/HCL/Yubii to InluxDB 2.x. It generates data to Influx with minimum delay.

There is data about HC3 system (cpu,ram), info about scenes (start, stop), geofence events and a lot of details about devices. In QA variables there is possibility to define include/exclude measurements/IDs/… (default all data are sent to Influx)

QA variables - you have to setup -

IP_InfluxDB2 ie. 192.168.1.111 (or server/database address without https:// or http:// )

Port_InfluxDB2 ie. 8086   (for cloud database usually 443)

HttpType ie. http     (defaul value http, for cloud usually https)

Organization ie. YourOrganizationFromInfluxDB2
Bucket ie. YourBucketFromInfluxDB2
TokenAPI ie. YourTokenAPIFromInfluxDB2

I already have a free cloud influxdb account.  Bud I'm new to the influxdb. I never had it locally in the LAN.

 

This is what I unterstand so far about influxdb Cloud. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I need to create a bucket and an API Token.

 

The data from fibaro hc is stored in the bucket.

 

Which API Token should I choose? There is All Access API Token and Custom API Token

How can the the QA write data to the influxdb Cloud, without knowing my account name and password? Or is this erverthing done by the Token.

Hey,

you create an Org on start and assign a Bucket.

Then create an API Token with access to this bucket, AllAccess is also fine.

The combo org, bucket and token manages your access.

About the path/IP adress for the cloud influxdb. I'm using the start address from influxdb cloud. This looks like below:

Hi, just use this for IP_InfluxDB2:

europe-west1-1.gcp.cloud2.influxdata.com

 

I used AWS instance eu-central-1-1.aws.cloud2.influxdata.com , your Instance is hosted on GCP but it should also work

Now I have data in the influxdb cloud. Could already make some dashboards in influxdb cloud. But the dashboard features in influxdb cloud seems to be quite limited.

 

I would like to have the dashboards in the grafana cloud.

 

Now trying to get data from influxdb cloud to the grafana cloud. No data so far. I have to read the doku and try again.

Hi, You can easily add InfluxDB with Flux Query language in Grafana Cloud.

Needed params are Org, Token and Bucket

 

I was not able to configure a connection with InfluxQL

I've been using this QA for about a year now. I can say it is rock solid, performs

perfect. And gives great insight in the data that is important for me.

 

Latest addition for me is,  air quality and humidity control for my fan system.

Yes, you can there also pay via MC/VISA cards
