You can't read it directly. There are some solutions like Jgab's Fibaro extra plugin should handle it with this formula self:getView("slider","value") , but it doesn't work for me at this moment.

, maybe Jan can make some comment on this part.

 

Meanwhile i would recommend to use a simple variable in slider event function like

Yes, it has changed behaviour and doesn't work anymore. 

It's a pity because the sliders value was saved with the QA when you downloaded the .fqa. Now it is reset 0.

Now the only way seems to create a handler like in your example.
