Switch for 230V ceiling fan

Tiwas

Question

Hi,

Which switches can you recommend for a 230V ceiling fan? Two-wire preferable, but three-wire is possible (though some extra work). I know I asked in a product sub-group, but I figured you guys might point me in the right direction if I'm in the wrong place.

While I'm here - I guess there's no dimmer module that can be used for this purpose, is there?

Thanks.

Use the Fibaro Switch, which contains a small relay. Fibaro Switch 2 is not recommended for inductive loads such as fans as it contains solid state switching. Dimmer 2 will not work on fans (and will probably be damaged if you try).

You can use this device with either toggle or momentary switches.

My mechanical exhaust fan, 70W 3 speed, is running now 4 years on Fibaro dubble switch.
