Read alarm input state

zabawiking

Question

Hello,

I could not find any documentation how to read inputs (separated from outputs) and set as alram ones (param 20 as 01).

If I send Notifigation (0x71) get command (of course as multichannel encap to endpoint 1 or 2), there is always "no alarm" information returned, regardless if input is grounded or not.

Could you please send me which command should be send to get alarm input status?

If I remember correctly device works in Push mode (you can check Command Class Notification specification) not Pull mode (which is obsoleted).
This means that you can't check the state on demand, you can only wait for unsolicited report.

Notification Get is responsible only for checking Notification State (if it is enabled or not, not the state of the input).

Intentional or not - this is a bug.  More reasonable  for battery sensors .

Reliable IO module should give current input status. ALWAYS.
