List of Zigbee devices - users for users

K.Drozynski

Question

Dear users,

We know that you are eager to share your thoughts regarding all Zigbee devices that you have. With so many Zigbee devices available on the market it would extremely difficult to prepare a complete list of supported Zigbee devices which would  include useful remarks.

For this reason we would like to encourage you to share your thoughts with other community members - let's make this a list of tested Zigbee devices created by users for users.

As correctly pointed out by @petergebruers (kudos to you) "A nice list for Zigbee2MQTT already exists, complete with picture, reset procedure(s) and quirks:

Please login or register to see this link.

So we can add one of those 2149 devices to our HC3, test its behaviour and report back with a link to the EXACT same device.

It is important to link to the exact same devices as the one you tested because there are many lookalikes..."

Regards

@K.Drozynski, is it an idea to add a table to the topic start with the devices that the FIBARO developers are working with?

I think this is good for the helping community to see some progress. ;)

Gentlemen, the sensor worked for 1 day on the first connection and it hung in the "move" position and it was like that for more than 20 hours. After disconnecting it, it could not be reattached to HC3. after many attempts it worked and it works properly for the 3rd day. I don't trust the SONOFF SNZB-03.

Yes exactly, do not trust and do not use in critical systems. It is ok to switch on the light in the room as it is cheap, but for alarm system I would use something more robust like Fibaro motion sensor.

Has anyone tried woox R7060 zigbee water irrigation timer? I’m interest on buying a couple as it works on AA battery since I don’t have wall sockets next to the balconies water taps where I have my flower pots.

✔️ Woox R7060 (Irrigation valve)

Please login or register to see this link.

Works fine with HC3

But internal build of the device is very cheap. You have to be very careful installing batteries and opening/closing the box to not damage or break anything.

Saswell irrigation controller is not compatible to Fibaro Hc3. It connects but silence right after. Be careful some stores  claim that is compatible to Hc3 but it’s not.

I removed the link of the store claimed that irrigation controller was compatible to HC3 as the “gentlemen” had the sensitivity to remove the HC3 compatibility logo of the device’s link.

probaby there are multiple firmware editions out on market (mine doesn’t work) I ll get a Tuya hub in order to get it to work, hopefully integrate it to home assistant and I ll check if there is a firmware update that maybe compatible to HC3.

anyway I wouldn’t recommend buying that.

Hi jonname84,

How is your longer experience with SONOFF ZBMINI-L?

Only on / off function or does it also report power consumption or other?

Wired Sensors -  Tuya WiFi/ZigBee Human Presence Detector MMwave

Please login or register to see this link.

I came across these wired sensors "Human Presence Motion Sensors" using mmWave, can anyone confirm they are compatible with the HC3? They have a model with a fall down stairs function which is particularly interesting!

Here is a link to a review of the device:

that sensor exposes lot of unsupported things, afaik you will get only motion sensor (based on occupancy information) and light sensor (based on illuminance information).

I have "similar" HP MS, LifeBeing Merrytek MSA035-Z1,

Please login or register to see this link.

which works sice 5.113.60, but only these two values mentioned above, no presence, no breath etc. (which are displayed in TUYA app btw.).

Merrytek seems to be not listed on Zigbee2mqtt, it will however detected on HC3 as JAVIS JS-MC-SENSOR-ZB,

Please login or register to see this link.

Additionally such sensors needs some calibration, means one must set some options, which is not yet supported on HC3.

Hi, sorry for the delay. Only on/off function is avayable and the range of the signal is quite poor compared to Z-Wave.
