Control GfA TS971 Door Control with Double Smart Module (FGS-224)

Recommended Posts

The GfA TS971 Door Control is a German made door control module used for overhead doors and other garage or industrial doors.

It is quite simple to use a Double Smart Module to control the Door control.
The TS971 has several extension options build in which we can use to control the door movement:

We use the X5 connector in this case.
We can take the 24V power from the 24V and GND connectors to power the Double Smart Module.
The IN we connect to the X5.2 terminal, make sure the loop between X5.1 and X5.2 remains, or crimp the IN and the X5.2 loop end together and connect them to the X5.2 terminal.
The Q1 of the DSM you connect to the X5.3 terminal and the Q2 to the X5.4 terminal:

I setup the DSM so that it switches both Q outputs automatically off after a second.
Now you can control the door using the Fibaro HC.
