HC2 Scene only during sunrise and sunset

jason8612

Question

I have some floor lighting that I would want to have it turn on for a set period of time (2min) only when the following parameters are met:

motion sensor breached, between sunset and sunrise, floor light off and kitchen led off.

How can I do this?

To determine whether it is night, you need a global variable.

1. Create a variable called "IsNight"

2. Create a block scene that is triggered at sunset and sets IsNight to "1"

3. Create a block scene that is triggered at sunrise and sets IsNight to "0"

Then, in you main block scene that you already have, add a condition for when IsNight equals 1.

Search the forum for motion sensor, there are a lot of other posts on how to deal with that element.

Eventually it becomes a lot of scenes to maintain...

    Alternatively, if you install

Please login or register to see this link.

it's 2 rules (and you can add all your other light rules in the same scene)

Please login or register to see this code.

or you can use @cag014 AllInOne scene...
