Using a pressure sensor with the Smart Implant

I'm looking at using an FGBS-222 along with a device such as a

to monitor the pressure in my home well system.

 

Has anyone done something like this, or have suggestions regarding proper wiring to accomplish this? (BTW, I'm an electronics engineer, so I'm comfortable reading circuit diagrams if you have one.)

 

Since the Smart Implant has two inputs, I'd like to use the other one to detect if the well pump is on. Basically, just need to detect the state of a 110V circuit. A resistor ladder seems like a really simple, but energy wasteful way to do that.

    @Kat81inTX It is better to choose a device that speaks Z-wave. Then you don't have to go out of your way to measure the current.

    Hi,
    I'm definitely leaning towards measuring the analog quantity of water in the well as RH_Dreambox did.
    I am attaching an illustrative example from another user:

     

    If you have already purchased the mentioned sensor, your connection will be according to the first diagram, i.e. by measuring the voltage on the SI 0-10V analog input.
    (Note: the second diagram is for 4-20mA current measurement and this is not available with Fibaro modules).
    However,..this pressure sensor will not be intended for direct immersion in the well, but for screwing on the pipe behind the pump (or even before the pump).
    In your case, it will be a suitable sensor for monitoring the operation of the pump - I will explain:
    It may be that the pump motor is running, but the pump vanes may be loose = water is not being pumped. You will measure the intake on the pump, possibly the switched relay for the pump operation with one SI input, and with the other input you will measure the water pressure behind the pump with this very sensor on the second SI input.
    In the case of "measurement and regulation" it means OPERATION and CONFIRMATION OF OPERATION. Then it is clear that you are pumping water.
