Smart Implant + sensors only refreshing after 4 hours...

Rhoditis

Question

Hello All,

I added a few Smart Implants in my installation to monito the soil humidity combined with valves to water them selectively when they need.

On some of them I added also an DHT22 in order to get Temp and air humidity in different parts of the garden.

All this used to work like a charm until a few days. All of a sudden some Smart Implants, the ones connected to a DHT22, but I doe not know if it is related, only return data every 4 hours...

I of course checked carefully all the parameters but I cannot find the reason. I thought that I might accidently have modified something so I restored on of the backups made during my progress. The behavior did not change.

I restored so many backups and restarted so many times the HC3 that it even became a bit erratic so today I restored it to factory settings. I had good hope. After I restored (once again) a good backup the problem... remains. So why all of a sudden do the Smart Implants only return values after exactly 4 hours... I am lost.

Many thanks for your help

There is probably a parameters tab in the device properties for the smart implant.

  • Thank you for the reply.

Yes I know about this parameter. It is set on 60 seconds. In the case of 3 Smart Implants out of 10 this does not influence at all.

I've had some problems with disconnecting zwave devices, and not returning status value's. It has probably not

much to do with your problem. But it seems firmware 5.110.15 and up solve's a few zwave polling issues.

5.110.15 has been stable for me.  Good luck.

  • Thanks a lot. For now I managed to solve the issue by simply re-configuring the devices. It has a price though as I had to rename everything but at least I did not have to intervene on the devices themselves.
