Bypass Requirement

Hi,

 

I do not understand if my light requires a bypass for dimmer module. Can you assist please ?

Your light is less than 50W and is trailing edge, so yes you should use the Bypass. The manual shows how to wire it up.

    it looks like the specification states 50VA as min rating, not 50W.

     

    The lamp listed above will be connected directly to mains AC and has its own built in driver. The dimmer/switch is connected (also on AC) before this circuit/driver.
