Dimming plus non-dimming lights on single switch

Pedroie

Question

Hi,

Can dimmer2 handle led dimming and led non-dimming lights via single switch/circuit for just on/off purposes ?

(Dimmable light would be trailing edge led.)

Or would all lamps on same switch/circuit have to be either all dimmable or all non-dimmable?

Can dimmer2 handle led lights of different watt values on same switch/circuit?

Thank you.

Yes you can mix dimmable and non dimmable lights (of any wattage), if you ensure that the dimmer is set to on/off mode only. I would expect some issues if you mix different types of dimmable lights though and try to dim, either the Dimmer won't be able to calibrate properly or you'll have different brightnesses between bulbs.
