Home Center 3 lost network connection

bsgrd

Question

Hi,

My Home Center 3 suddenly lost connection to my network, and now I can't access the UI.

The HC3 is(was) connected to network via both Ethernet and WiFI.

I'm assuming that the issue is caused by changes in my network setup. I have tried looking at the recovery page here:

Please login or register to see this link.

and attempted to enter recovery mode, but it still doesn't connect to the network.
And since the rest of the recovery options and especially "Resetting network settings" require UI, then i'm stuck.

Does anyone know what to do?

Hi,

Did you use static ip settings or DHCP ?

If dhcp, then new network settings should be used automatically. You should able to connect at least remotely from

Please login or register to see this link.

New local assigned ip you can check from network router DCHP list.

If you used static IP, then you set your computer static IP and you can access HCL for network reconfiguration.

For example if your HCL was 192.168.1.10 with mask 255.255.255.0. Then put in computer 192.168.1.11 with mask 255.255.255.0 and access HCL from web browser.

I did reserve an IP address for my HC3 on my router, but i'm not able to access it from fibaro cloud. I have tried deleting the ip reservation and restart my HC3, but it doesn't even show up in my routers list of clients.

I have attached a picture of the leds that are lighting... Maybe that helps?

I'm not able to access the UI, so sadly this is not an option.

    Reset HC3 from HC3 buttons!

-1- Hold the + button 10 seconds to switch between fixed-IP and DHCP.
    Directly after that:
-2- Remove the power connector for 20 seconds.

-3- Apply power and completely finish the boot process.
-4- Login with admin - admin and change your login name and password

    Manual?

Thanks. But still no luck. Now all leds are lighting solid except for the "security" led which is flashing.

  • @Sjakie Apparently it was temporary that all lights were lighting. Now it's back to what was shown in the picture.
