Today I have 3 identical HUE lamps active on my HC3, 2 via the HUE bridge and 1 directly on the HC3 via Zigbee.
2 things stand out immediately.
Via Zigbee the HUE lamp is RGB, via the HUE Bridge this is RGBW.
Is this a bug?
If not how can I adjust it?

Why can the "brightness" of the Zigbee HUE never be set as high as the lamps via the HUE
yes, this is how it is currently implemented, it does use only ZIGBEE set rgb.

You can for sure set fav. colors (API or any other z-wave rgb/rgbw device), to try to cover more or less what you wish, but only with RGB value.
