FGS-223 association not working to another FGS-223

Simon W

Question

I'm trying to associate FGS-223 Switch 2 to another FGS-223's Switch 2 using ZWaveJS in Home Assistant.

Note below - Endpoint 2/Group2 to Endpoint 2 on the target FGS-223. But nothing happens. Is this a known issue?

I have been struggling with similar issues for a few days now. What I have found is ...

1. Both devices must be 'included' at the same security level. Seems to work for me if they are both S0 and not unsecured. (Difficult because I am using a Hubitat HE hub and the security mode chosen by the device appears random. I cant control what security mode a device includes with. So I have to keep re-including til it randomly connects with S0.)

2. Let the network settle down for a day or so after re-including/ resetting either controlling or slave node before trying to configure associations (or configure anything for that matter). Go slow!

3. It looks like I cant associate an endpoint with the other endpoint on the same device. Only endpoints on other devices.

Good luck
