MCOHOME 9 in 1 multisensor A8-9 => CO2 sensor not working in Homecenter 3

Jack van Hal

Question

Hi,

I use Homecenter 3 (software version 5.130.45) for 1 year now, with about 45 Fibaro Z-wave devices / HUE lamps.

Working fine.

Last i purchase the MCOHOME 9 in 1 multisensor A8-9.

Added to homecenter. Like this picture:

From the 9 sensors, 8 are working in homecenter (see picture) but CO2 doesn't.

On the multisenser itself CO2 is working (see picture):

Someone familiar with this problem?

We got some reports on that, it is related to the device itself (reports on the radio always value 0).
You need to send it for RMA :)

I'm facing the same issue. CO2 value received on HC3 is always 0.

So you need to contact your supplier to get a replacement.

I have the same problem with A8-9 on HC3 Lite. HUB Firmware and devices current as of the post date.
Has anyone solved this problem. E.g. a new device works, or configuration changes?

Hi Jack,

Sorry for the late answer. Unfortunately I didn't solve the issue and have no idea if I'm an isolate case or it is a general issue related to A8-9 product/device.

I haven't been able to find out yet if there is anyone who uses this device and successfully receives the CO2 value in HC3. I contacted the supplier from Romania, but I still have no answer. it's still a mystery to me too

I had/have a same problem. The seller has replaced the Multisensor A8-9, but the problem is same with the new one.

The older - approx. 2 years old - A8-9 Multisensor’s (I have 2pcs) are working fine, so CO2 value is ok on the HC3.
I think it’s a Multisensor firmware problem (in case of new Multisensor's), and we have to contact to MCO Home support.

p.s.: I have compared the full setup of the new and old Multisensor’s in HC3 and they are fully same (sablon, Zwave version, etc.).

I wrote to MCO Home support.
I have got an answer:

“Hi Tamás,

Yes, it is the firmware problem, they have to submit the device to the first supplier in Europe to update the new firmware.
