I have asked similar question several times in the past, the answer has always been roughly:

- If it is for a “production” systems (the only HC3 in your house which will handle everything on a daily basis) the go for the traditional Zwave 2. The “new” Zwave 3 are not production ready yet and are only recommended for testing purposes.

But given how long the ZWave 3 now have been availible one could ask: Will it ever be production ready?

Sorry to have to confirm the words of JcBorgs @.
I chose 3, it does not support all devices. Even made by fibaro. The developmental delay is tragic.
Now it's hard for me to come back to 2nd place, but somehow I manage. there is no tragedy.
