CALCULATIONS WITH VALUE

Hello,

 

I wanted to use a value from sensor (energy consumption) and use it in calculation of new value, which

will be then shown in dashboard or elsewhere.

Has anyone any clue how to program this?

Maybe create a quickapp, get the value, calculate your thing and update the property of your quickapp.

Write more... or better, you will become interested in LUA, learn, try,... and ask questions. There are people here who will help you reach your goal.

Yes i would be better if a will find the time

 

I'm using power meter (from SolarEdge) to track the consumption of a building. I need to

see only on part of consumption, which is approximately 40% of whole consumption.

So i would need an app to use one value and calculate another and show it.

This is simple for some people i presume.

...and can't it solve your requirements??..
SmartHome Eddy is handy and gave this QA.
It probably won't be a problem, or modify this QA and calculate what you need.
