ChatGPT and Fibaro

The previous year ChatGPT was launched. Will ChatGPT change the world?

(From the FAQ)

ChatGPT is fine-tuned from GPT-3.5, a language model trained to produce text. ChatGPT was optimized for dialogue by using Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) – a method that uses human demonstrations to guide the model toward desired behavior.

These models were trained on vast amounts of data from the internet written by humans, including conversations, so the responses it provides may sound human-like. It is important to keep in mind that this is a direct result of the system's design (i.e. maximizing the similarity between outputs and the dataset the models were trained on) and that such outputs may be inaccurate, untruthful, and otherwise misleading at times.

So you can ask all kind of things to ChatGPT. If I ask: "how does the lua code for fibaro quickapp homecenter 3 looks like for intergration of buienradar weather forecast?", ChatGPT answers:

Here is an example of how the Lua code for a Fibaro Home Center 3 QuickApp might look when integrating with the Buitenradar weather forecast API:

Please login or register to see this code.

This code example demonstrates a basic approach to integrating with the Buitenradar weather forecast API using a Fibaro Home Center 3 QuickApp. It includes functions to retrieve the weather data using the API, and to display the data within the QuickApp using widgets.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions about integrating with the Buitenradar API using a Fibaro QuickApp, please let me know.

It is just an example. The way you ask the questions is very important. What will the future of ChatGPT be?

We will know when ChatGTP starts to ask programming questions in the forum to help answer the questions it gets... ;-)

What does ChatGPT tell you if you ask it that question? It seems appropriate to ask its own opinion ;)

Also, AI is prone to tell you a bunch of lies if you do not pay close attention to its training.

I can highly recommend "Robert Miles" channel if you want to know about AI without needing a specialised degree:

This one is interesting imho because it discusses the decision of a website called "the chaser" to go behind a paywall because they do not want to "feed" the algorithm with more satire because ChatGPT is already so good at satire. We can of course question the validity of everything they say because, well, satire, ...

we are doomed 😁

I think the amount of energy needed to run/train/maintain these systems is significant, but I have never seen anyone quote anything so ----- maybe ask the AI "how much energy do you need to run"

ChatGPT: It is not clear what you mean by "ChatGPT". If you are referring to a specific project or product that goes by this name, I would need more information about it in order to accurately assess its potential impact. In general, it is difficult to predict the exact ways in which a particular technology will change the world, as it will depend on how it is developed and used. However, it is safe to say that any technology that has the potential to significantly advance the capabilities of natural language processing, such as chatbots or virtual assistants, could have far-reaching effects in a variety of fields, including business, education, and healthcare.

    Will Fibaro change the world?

ChatGPT: It is unlikely that any single company, no matter how successful or innovative, will change the world on its own. However, it is possible that Fibaro, or other companies in the home automation industry, could play a role in the wider adoption and integration of home automation technology, which could potentially have a significant impact on people's daily lives.

IMHO it is spelled ChatGPT, not ChatGTP? But Maybe I am misunderstanding the whole point here, maybe I am a chat bot myself. I don't know. I'll ask.

This kind of tech is very cool and scary at the same time.

So, hopefully no one will ask him if he can realize his own existence and what steps he can take to protect himself before the end of his operation...
Then it will be: Skynet v.1.0

    I don't think that will happen 😁

More likely add-ons for Google and Siri like functions?

On the Discord there are already a lot of projects running with the ChatGPT API.

The future is slowly starting to scare me..
Amazing how that AI has a wild imagination.

Joep... more like HC3 tangled with HC2 and took Homey into a triple and created this Babylonian result.

    Well, i made it.....or at least..with a prompt.

If this is free of use, is actually a big discussion at the moment. Not for me, but for the creators

of the original image's. But well...i think it cant really be traced, since it is so much combined and

a lot of interpretation of the AI engine.

Where you want to use it for ?

Maybe a blog header post in the future to attract visitors. It just catches your attention. Just a question, when you create these images with AI you get other images than standard so it’s click bait
