Dimmer 2 either overheats or doesn't dim well

 connected to a Dimmer 2. (For the record: there are 12, ie. two empty, sockets)

I experienced that they at the lowest dimmed to about 30%. Googling, I found details about parameter 30 and decided to give it a shot. 

 

Setting Parameter 30 to "forced leading edge control", allows the lights to dim all the way.

 

BUT, when P30=0, then I frequently get warnings that the Dimmer 2 overheats

and the lights go off.

 

I really want to dim LOW (for the children at night) and not risk a fire hazard / unstable lights.

@Nico....

But can your LED lighting really dim down as far as you want. Not all LED lights can.
My older LED lights couldn't, but the new Osram ones work perfectly.

And my HUE E14 bulbs only dim down to 30-40% because they can't do deep dimming either.

The vendor replied to an email  (we went a bit back and forth, but this is the essence):

The LED bulbs should be possible to dim all the way down. Did you adjust the sensitivity on the dimmer?

Apparently the Dimmer overheats, so I have come to terms with the fact that the Dimmer is the issue, not the bulbs in themselves.
