RTSP kamera HC3

Laco Jurdik

Question

I have a camera that only has an rtsp connection.

Example:
rtsp://admin:[email protected]:554/0/av0

I need to connect it in HC3. It is possible?
I see an RTSP configuration option there, but it doesn't work.

@Laco Jurdik, It should work, but RTSP streams should be shown in Yubii app only on your local network, meaning same as your Home Center. However I do not know if you need newer YUBII app which

yes, the 1.18 App version is necessary to get the new feature surveillance center displayed. On the main view in app, only mjpeg/jpg preview can be displayed, h264/rtsp and ip cams are under more->surveillance center

In the main view in Yubii 1.18 there is no camera preview. Or am I missing something?

The camera preview is only shown in the More --> Surveillance (and my camera's are not working there, probably I have to configure h264/rtsp)

If camera device is used to make Video gate linked device, then that camera is not visible anymore in browser and Yubii 1.18 Surveillance. Funny thing is that Yubii 1.18 also does not see Video gate. :-P

i have no idea why 1.18 displayed on my iphone ip cam in preview, i guess was cache / installation over 1.17 GA issue. I reinstalled app an now cams are only in surveillance center

Ah, thanks. I hoped it would still work in the main, because I haven't succeeded getting the (Hikvision) cams working in the surveillance center. In the previous Yubii app it worked just fine.

I tried:

rtsp://user:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/

rtsp://user:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/?transportmode=unicast

rtsp://user:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/?transportmode=multicast

or changed the channel to 102

or without the user:pass

rtsp://user:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/

but in the previous version you used mjpeg i guess as path, that should still work.

I did, but that doesn’t work anymore in the new beta Yubii version. In the previous version it still works.

I got the impression the new beta Yubii app needed the rtsp protocol.

After a Hikvision firmware update it stopped working. I updatet today with RTSP support.

rtsp://user:[email protected]:554/Streaming/Channels/101/.

Is not working on the HC3/Yubii. But working on VLC Media player, so I guess the RTSP inlog/link is valid.

So HC3 problem/issue?

Also in the new beta version 1.18.0 version 7 no camera's. I did change a bit, I now see where the camera's should be, but don't get the picture.

You have a separate field for the RTSP port in the beta firmware, I don't in (in the stable version) firmware

Will try something on my other HC3 with beta firmware ...
