Smart Lock Options for Fibaro HC3

fuser99

Question

Hi,

I'm looking to change my smart locks and I'd like to know what people use these days. I used Danalock in the past but it became very unreliable and I'd like to switch to a more reliable lock.

Any recommendation?  Of course, it should be able to integrate with Fibaro HC3.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

I would be interested in a smart  door lock, with HC3 compatibility, the door is kind of thick, it's about 11cm and opens from the inside, so Danalock and Tedee out of gameit doesn't fit physically because of indoor unit and the classic key option it is a must.

Can you suggest a good solution?

I am not happy with the unlocking options. I also heard the "touch to open" is not so reliable especially with some house layouts (or it wasn't, perhaps they fixed it?).

How is your overall experience with it and for how long do you have it?

Thank you for taking time to write the integration, excellent job.

Did you find anything that work for you?

Aqara D100 Zigbee is rated for 40-120 mm door thickness but it's not a conventional lock and also I don't know if it works with Fibaro HC3.

I have the Loqed for some months now, I use it daily. The touch to open works fine. Loqed also has an automatic open function based on geolocation, but I don’t use that.

I'm considering this lock in order to integrate with Fibaro. Do you know if it is possible to disable "touch to open" via Fibaro automation?

    Thank you.

I think you can. I use the QuickApp from Tinman. There is a "only for the latch trigger integrated. But of course Tinman knows more about his QuickApp.

    Hi

No, I did not find any lock, because of the following issues:

      - opens from the inside, I mean  when I'm leaving, I have to push the door  to open

      - from the inside with the door closed: the distance between the cylinder center and the door frame it is about 25mm

      - the door is kind of thick, it's about 11cm

    Hi

I did find some smart lock based on ttlock   (https://open.ttlock.com/) , but I don't know how can I connect to the HC3.
