Firmware update impossible on flood sensor

Gogoye

Question

Hello everybody,

I have a HC3 lite for some weeks now and I've seen that my Figaro flood sensor could be updated.

I have currently a firmware v3.4...3.4 is in the pipe

Unfortuntly, the update is impossible.

The sensor needs to wake up, but when it is, there is a error message and I have to redo.

Itried multiple times, waited 1 day, 1 night to see if the sensor could wakeup but nothing happened.

I've seen also 2 topics dealing with this topic without answer.

I apologize in advance as I am quite new with this tool and I am not an IT guy.

So may be there is an answer somewhere but I was not able to find it.

Does one of had the chance to upgrade his flood sensor?

If the answer is somewhere, just share the link and I will proceed.

Thanks and regards

Eric

If you want Fibaro support, please use the Fibaro support option. On the forum you can find an answer from other users, in this case not. Sometimes a Fibaro employee gives an answer.

@Gogoye  I'm having similar problems if device is struggling with the range. The communication in zwave mesh is still OK, but updating devices requires really good range. You can do the range tests according to the

(anything below green may be causing update failures). But for devices that are mobile, you can place them next to the your HC unit and wait. For devices that cannot be moved (relays etc) I'm using range extender from Aeotec which helps in most of the cases.
