HC2 not showing any leds after reboot

Recommended Posts

My HC2 stopped responding remotely 3 days ago.  Came back home last night and rebooted it.  I have tried several times, with unplugging the power for an hour as well.

  1. The led ripple
  2. One stays on, the rest ripple
  3. 2nd stays on etc, until all are on
  4. Then they all go off

What does this mean and how do I fix it ?

Hello how are you?
She tries to turn it on from the power button.
Do it when in the following way, connect the power and wait for the lights to turn on and turn off again, then press the power button several times until it turns on again.

This should work for it to boot.

But what is important is the cause of this problem.
If that's what I think, the internal battery of your HC2 no longer has a charge and you should replace it so that it starts automatically when it detects power.

I hope it is useful to you.

Greetings.

There are some issues with remote access. Tonight there is maintenance, so hopefully it will be solved tonight.

That makes no sense.  It has been through two nights since reboot attempts, and 4 nights before that.  And it did not fix itself.

Well its booting now,  Its been starting services for a while.  I will leave it another 10 minutes, before trying again.  I was not aware that it had a battery inside.  Any idea what type it is ?  Is it obvious how to replace it, or do I need instructions ?

    Hello again.
The battery is CR2032 for notebook type, I leave you a link.
The procedure is not difficult but it requires disassembling your hc2 and putting it back together. If you are familiar with PC repair it shouldn't be a problem.

  • Good call, the battery was down to 0.3V.

The lugs were welded on.  Found a PCB mount holder, which I adapted.  I didn't want to solder to the battery.

Back to Starting Services.  I guess if it has lost the time and other information, it might take a while to do anything.

    EDIT:

    1. Waited 10 mins then went into recovery mode and repaired system.
    2. But 3 hrs later it is still on "Starting Services"
    3. Did factory reset and restore of backup.
    4. Now, back to original symptoms.
    5. Tried multiple times, it won't go into Recovery Mode

Yesterday when you were trying to get things working, there was maintenance with Fibaro (because of that remote issue), maybe try later and not let that maintenance disturb your work.
