Motion sensor disconnected from Homekit

Hello team!
I have purchased a homekit motion sensor years ago and it has worked rather well until some months ago when it started disconnecting entirely from the home giving a a "no response" in the main Apple Home app or not being able to communicate in the Fibaro app. The  situation coincides with the homekit architecture upgrade (I presume).
Any way to troubleshoot this?

I reset it, removed its battery, all for the same type of behavior: it connects but after some time it will be giving a "no response" again.

Best regards,
Aurel

  • Looks like there is no "love" for these products when it comes to some kind of an official involvement in the forum.

  • Looks like it got reconnected to the homekit environment. Still this blackbox approach of "it just works" or "it just doesn't work" is not very consumer friendly.

I assume it is the ecosystem's behavior that causes these types of reactions but we will never know.
