Does the Wall Plug smoothly work on a Yubii Home?

krza

Question

Hi, I assume that the Wall Plug fully integrates into the Yubii Home environment, mainly wrt switching devices but also wrt the energy measurement.

Is that the case? Does anyone have experience with it?

I am mainly interested in the energy measurement. In the Yubii Home web portal I found the "Energy" section but of course without any documentation or something. So it´s not clear what type of measuring devices can be added there.

Is there an alternative app for the measurement? In the product descriptions and videos you often find fancy graps on smartphones and so on but I did not find out yet what that is – an own app which is independently from the host controller or something like the Yubii Home app which also has that energy section (like the web version)?

Thanks and regards,

Kristian

@krzaHi, I'm using some Fibaro Wall Plugs. They are integrated in the homecenters. In the Wall Plug settings, you can enable that the energy measurement is visible in the energy panel.

I don't have Yubii homecenter but HC3L. I guess in this case, the Yubii home controller has the same features.

The best descriptions about the energy panel I've seen so far is from Joep

  • Cool, thanks Fabir. Sounds promising. And also thanks for the link. Haven´t read all of it (yet) but found that the HC panels look very similar to the ones on the Yubii side. Prpbably they are more or less the same. And in that case I would expect the same connectivity and funtionality of course.
