Merge Home Center 3 lite devices to HC 3

Hi,

I have two location where I have HC 3 lite and final destination with HC3, I want to migrate all of the devices to HC3 automatically and make it as slave.

Is it possbie in Fibaro ecosystem?

Not sure if I understand your question correctly. You can't merge zwave devices from a HC3L to HC3. You can connect a HC3L to a HC3 with the master slave configuration. The HC3 will be the master. In both cases you have to exclude all of the zwave devices from hc3l and include to hc3 again.

HC3/ Yubii Home Pro can be master or slave

HC3L can be only slave

 

Do You can migrate devices from HC3L to HC3 - answer is no, HC3L is use radio 700 series, HC3 use radio 500 series and manufacturer of chip made to big difference in memory of chip, and it's not supporting migration from 700 to 500 only from 500 to 700

 

Maybe in future when we will make new hub with 800 radio series manufacturer will help us made migration (700 -> 800) but on today is not possible

 

If you want to do on HC3 you will need remove all devices from HC3L and add them to HC3 and made all scenes there.

 

But to made slave hub you will need reset it too.

 

So by summary you can do it by it is like new installation, you will need to add devices on both hubs

Is is plan to introduce HC4? 



To be honest is a littl annoying when you need to reset all devices and pairing them again.. Migration should be possible to higher/better version
