Aeon Labs Home Energy Meter with HC2

Is there someone who have an Aeon Labs Home Energy Meter and can share screenshot from HC2 and some coments ?

Hello,

I bought the 3 clamps meter 2-nod edition. On HC2 the sensor shows only the sum of energy consumption and zero on the phases.

The device is seen and included in the energy charts cut with zero values. No sums , no history.

Also, I suspect the total energy consumption on the device is not shown correctly.

Any idea how to include the device in the energy charts?

I have upgraded to 4.040, but meter is still doesn't work correctly. It doesn't show power by fases. How to get power meter to show results in the chart?

At the beggining I had some issues with adding meter to HC2, then I've updated its firmware (I always do that with new stuff) and tried again and this time it worked.

If you have Home Energy Meter DSB28-ZWEU E2 there is no possibilities to update the FW.

I have this with FW1.5 and can´t see the momentary consumption for each phase.

Where can I find which firmware version my HEM has? Is it the number next to Version in the general tab when I edit the device? If yes, I would have V 1.16 on a HEM I received yesterday from a big retailer in Germany ...

Hi all, I can't get the forum search to work well because Im sure others have had the same questions with the Aeon Labs Home Energy Meter E2 3 phase

 

Now I have got it linked.. What are all the 13 Slave options for. I gather there is phase watts and total watts. How do I get the system to show some where the other values.

From your description I can see that your device is HEMG2 with firmware 1.5.

The same device with firmware 1.7 shows all data OK, but fw 1.5 do not.

The data you shoult see is Voltage  and Ampere for the three phases, momentary and total energy for the three phases and Voltage, Ampere and energy for the whole unit.

Cross your fingers and wait for next release:-)

I have the DSB28-ZWEU E2. (version 1.2) First thing I noticed, is that after adding it to Fibaro, it gets an incorrect template assigned to it. The template has parameter 1, whereas the device does not have such parameter and complains about it every time I save new parameter values into it. I've turned off the template and am manually adding parameters. Unfortunately it seems to be impossible to delete the parameter1, as it keeps coming back after every save.

 

The current status is - I'm getting correct wattage, consumption (shows up nicely in the Energy panel), voltage and amperage readings from the main device. Unfortunately the individual clamps only report their consumption, and that does not show up on the Energy panel. 

 

So yeah - still ways to go with this one. Waiting to hear back from the Aeotec support for more advice. They've been most helpful so far, so fingers crossed.

Yay! my DSB28-ZWEU E2. (version 1.2) has correct template after the last hotfix (4.048)

 

Still does not report wattage, voltage or amperage per clamp though. Just kWh
