How do I get my outdoor temperature "ST814 Temperature" in to my a virtual label in lua code

best to post in power user section to get answers to this type of question

this simple code will do the job

create a new lua scene

  • replace with the id of the temp sensor
    replace with the ID of the virtual device use toolkit to get as it is easiest

as is my way not tested but should work but if I made a typo you will learn..

Hi, any idea how to do the same but from the outside temperature reported by HC2 itself (the Yahoo weather). I found the data via the /api/weather but don't manage to pick it up in the virtual device itself similar to the code you post.
