4.xx? Have they improved the location plugin?

Your home always knows where you and your family members are thanks to geo localization. When you leave home, the system turns off unneeded devices, arms the alarm system and simulates your presence to discourage thieves from breaking in. While calculating your return route, the system will adjust temperature and run pre-programmed scenes. Energy saving, safety and comfort – FIBARO.

Fibaro have always had a knack of talking up features they dream about adding months or years down the line... almost like the carrot and the donkey scenario

I am sure they have tried and tested these but probably not ready for human consumption or US ONLY

Yet to understand what is covered in multimedia.

GSM and battery add-ons I guess will take its fair share of time to reach market.

Do anybody known if the GSM module is going to work on HC2 is it USB connected to HC Lite?

If Lua is not supported. It would be nice to see some improvements in the Block scenes.

Like:

Else statements

Arm / Disarm complete alarm

Nested if statements

It can be a special bus for connection of modules like in Zipabox. At least it makes sence for battery module.

+100 yes. At least there must be a support for "else" and "nested if"! Of course we can do the same logic using plently of scenes interacting with each other using global variables. But it will create a lot of mess. It must be fixed!

Fibaro team, please take a look here! You defenitly have what to improve in blocks:

Or is it a marketing plan not to have "else" and other stuff in scene blocks? It can be done so in order to keep the high demand for LUA and thus expensive HC2.

even without the nested if. An else statement would already make many of my scenes clean up a lot

But in all honesty, I don't think anyone who's not willing to dig into LUA, will also not be able to make some advanced scenes with the help of the block editor, other then a simple "if this door opens, then that light should turn on" scene. Not without having a proper manual anyway. Zipato made that mistake and if they don't turn up with a proper tutorial sometime soon, Fibaro has made the same mistake.

For Vera everybody knows that they should accept the programming part of the box, for HC2 it still remains somewhat nerdish too, but with the Lite they are choosing the direction Apple is taking. However, Apple makes things so sophisticated that you can't be that stupid that you don't understand how things work, with Lite I don't expect that it's been developed to that level...

Than they should first change the association part of the devices

But an else statement is quite obvious even for not nerdy people...

Turn on the lights to 100% when movement and lux = 200 else turn to 50%....

how can virtual device work WITHOUT lua?

I hope I haven't missed this in my HC2 but there seems to be something new called the Command Post in HCL. Will that be available for HC as well? In that case I'm very eager to get an upgrade
