New foscam camera but doesn't work

remcoploeg

Question

Hi,

I received today my new foscam camera F18918W

I installed it and works fine via the webbrowser. I have added the foscam camera in my fibaro system (3.591) and on the overview page I see the screen of the camera. That's fine. But when I try to push buttons (to move the camera) or take a picture. The picture is empty in my e-mail and there is no movement. I have setup the following settings in the advanced settings, but no luck

What can be wrong?

Hi remcoploeg

How did you set it up ? I can't get my 8910w to function using the commands, and i put ip in the beginning of command to try as I think you suggest you did ?

Can you screen cap the settings of one of them for me ? then I can rule out what I am doing as it might be a 4.017 /4.018 issue

Try these, you can't use ip on commands.

Right:

decoder_control.cgi?command=6&user=user&pwd=password

Left:

decoder_control.cgi?command=4&user=user&pwd=password

Up:

decoder_control.cgi?command=2&user=user&pwd=password

Down:

decoder_control.cgi?command=0&user=user&pwd=password

Notice that my camera is upside down on ceiling, so if needed, change parameters between up&down and left&right.

Thanks, I'll try them tonight!

[edit] - Thanks! Works a treat, correct on the left and right, perfect on the rest !

Cheers,

al.
