How to do HC Lite data backup?

WiYantra

Question

Hi,

Can anyone help me how to take a backup of my HC Lite data.

In HC2 it has an USB drive to store the HC2 data, but in HC Lite where does it stores the data.

Does it has any built in storage capacity or it has a Fibaro cloud storage to store all its data.

And how can i restore the backup data into HC Lite?

Thanks in Advance

sorry, not possible. The backup is per unit only and stored in the memory.

    I had the same issue...

At the Fibaro Team: are you working on this critical feature?

A local backup option is essential for both HC2 and HCL. Vera's provide that option and it is extremely helpful.

Is it an actual "complete" backup, or the same "partial backup" as in HC2 (No icons, etc, etc)

JanJoh, nope, HCL got new type of backup

    - we store icons

    - database

    - zwave chip data

so we can say that is complete backup, Recovery on HCL is work in different way too, you can store recovery image or download it by internet

Does this mean that upon a HCL crash i could recover a brand new box? With my prev. HCL i could not and had to restart all over again, despite backup.
