Devolo and Fibaro Conflicts

rm2014

Question

Hi Everyone - just got my new HC2 and so far its working fine.

One issue I found was I use a Devolo D-Lan powerline system to run a hardwired connection from my router downstairs up to our living room through the powerlines. When I plug the HC2 into the router downstairs, it works fine, but the Devolo does not work - I checked the inbound Cable and there is internet connection but for some reason the Devolo is being affected by the HC2

I moved my HC2 to the living room connection through the Devolo - and it all works fine.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Thanks

Update - I have a pretty old dlan 200 AVeasy (about 6 years old) and it seems to be affecting the connection all the time now. When the fibaro is connected, the connection through the dlan is dead or very slow....

To me it sounds like a need for a X-10 like filter or an new power supply for HC2.

I've heard (no personal experience) that using sockets that are not on the same power group (ie. fuse) might influence connectivity/bandwidth.

Hi,

I unfortunately also this trouble.

I use the devolo dLAN 650+

With me is for 3 weeks, the home center 2 in operation.

When plugged power supply of the home centers break even at my performance extremely or break off.

Something about the power supply is not in order?

Is there an alternative power supply?

Previously I had not problems with my dlan network!
