Can I modify the default device parameters?

martijnt

Question

I would like to know if it is possible to modify the default parameters that get applied whenever I add a device of a particular type to my Fibaro Home Center 2...

For example, every time I add a new motion sensor, I have to manually adjust all the parameters to my liking. When I add 4 sensors I have to do the same thing 4 times...

How can I create a template or modify the existing template such that when I add a sensor to my Home Center 2 it automatically gets MY preferred parameters...?

That would be nice. Before that however, I would be happy if HC2 actually used the default values that the devices specify instead of setting apparently completely random values in some situations. It's kind of a surprise to see your smoke sensors or flood sensor having "acoustic and audio alarms disabled" set immediately after the devices have been included, which is of course isn't default. This is not a new bug but obviously Fibaro don't think it's important enough to do anything about it. Good luck with your feature request though.
