How to connect GreenWave to Fibare HC2

swapsakker

Question

Hi

Im new here, and a new Fibaro user. I have the HC2 and some GreenWave single node, 6 port nodes and som bulbs.

How can i connect them to the HC2?

I have tryed the simpel way, to set the HC2 in learning mode and press the sync. on the greenwave. The greenwave light's as it should for connection, but the HC2 don't register the node. Am I just stupid ?

Just to make sure: Are you pressing the button on the side and NOT on the top?

  • What version firmware do you run?

If it is on the fibaro the. It is the latest beta.

OK, then it should be that simple - Just set the HC into inclusion mode and press the button. The Powernode needs to be close I think I recall...

Inclusion mode, is that the same as learning mode? If not, how is it set to inclusion?

Yes. Choose the "Devices" tab and click "Addor remove devices" and then the "Add" button. If that doesn't work then first try excluding/deleting it in the same place and then to include it again.

The deleting did the thing. It was removed and then i could add it without any problems.

Thanks so much, and for fast reply

  • Now my hc2 is running with the setup I want. Thanks to this forum.

But do you know how to connect the greenwave bulb?

I think the remove/add is activated by turning them on and off x times. But not sure.

Got a manual, but doesn't work on the fibaro, so don't know if they can be connected.
