not via lua, but you should be able to set variable 1 to 128 or 255 to stop the blinking.

Hey, this is interesting. I have a couple of these devices, and they are all blinking indeed. Do you mean adding a parameter with number 1 and value 128? Do you set it on the main zwave device, or on any child device?

I found this:

Parameter #1 (1 byte):

After how many minutes the GreenWave device should start flashing if the controller didn't communicate with this device (min: 1, max: 255)

Or you can set "polling to 50" on the master unit, andi it will stop blinking.

That worked for me

I added the parameter to the main zwave device, which causes it to appear on all the child devices as well. The blinking stopped, so it seems to work. Gonna see if it stays this way. Thanks

Tried further, 255 does not seem to work (only for a little time) and 128 seems to work... (mh one device now also blinks again). don't know

indeed setting the time lower helps aswell, but after missing 1 update it will blink again.. and it increases the network traffic

no, but parameter 2 is just the representation of the color wheel. Turn it and the number will change

    i gues:

    param 1 255

and poll it once every hour

    or if polling doesn't work

    scene

    every hour

    if (first contact) is on

    set it on

    if off

    set it off

so you have communication every hour and the led won't flash

or tape, these things cost 49 euro's and a piece of tape

I just got a business idea... I will sell screw drivers so you can open them. with a special piece of plastic (tape) that you can use on the inside to cover the led
