Newbie Fibaro HCL what does polling Dead devices mean?

Ijuk

Question

In the Zwave configuration there is a tick box for polling dead devices and auto configuration for battery devices - what do these boxes actually do?

Is there a guide advising on what variables do what?

Polling dead devices means, that system will try to communicate with devices marked as dead, which may increase the traffic in network when device does not respond. Battery devices auto-configuration will add a configuration to kind of a queue (when checked), so you can change configuration and do not wake up device - it will be send when device will wake up by itself.
