Philips Hue V4 fail

dawiinci

Question

I don't know what they programmed, but the plugin makes the Hue system unstable. The lights within the Hue App take several seconds to change state.

As soon as I remove the plugin it works again. What the heck are they doing - polling every nanosecond??

That's exactly my experience too. The Philips bridge just hogs. Try changing state in the HC2 quickly and then change state in the Philips Hue app, you'll watch a lighting show for the next minute.

I think Fibaro did the same thing with the Sonos-plugin. Although less visible because a network is not easily congested, there's HUGE extra traffic to the Sonos system.

And a bit the same with the Foscam Plugin where 4-5 cameras block completely the browser due to traffic
