Secure SSR302

Produno

Question

Ive added this to my HC2 using V4.031 and it says theres no template available.

Has anyone had any luck using one of these with the HC2. I have it working manually, ie on/off of my combi boiler. Though i would like to be able to do this remotely using my phone/tablet.

This is the first device ive added so im not very familiar with home automation or the HC2 yet... so not a very good start

Cheers.

*edit

So it seems the SSR303 is actually supported. Seing as im using only the heating for now and not the hot water control (i will be in the future hence why i bought the 2 channel device) is there a way for me to force load the SSR303 template for the SSR302 device in the HC2 so i can at least get my heating wirelessly controlled for now?

*edit 2

It seems the on off functionallity does work wirelessly after all

Templates are only for making it easier to edit/add parameters, you can still add them manually and even use devices without any parameters changed, but then the default ones will be used. Three devices are visible due to z-wave requirements and it is the way it is supposed to be. One of the devices should not be visible anywhere but General configuration view.

  • Thanks for the reply. Since adding it keeps saying its not configured correctly. Although ive changed the name and assigned them to a room. Im guessing this is just because i have no parameters set?

Is there anywhere i can find some documentation on adding parameters etc?

    Cheers.

Produno, just go to Advanced Configuration of module and on the bottom there is option to add parameter. Click it and enter manually all needed values. They should be in user manual of device.

Do you know if is possible to declare power consumption to this device?

    Many Thanks

Sorry, but power consumption should be reported by device itself - we cannot estimate it on our own. Only Dimmer 1 and Relay Switches have such option, but it is done on interface level and cannot be used with other devices.
