Sensor module continually sending LUX levels

pnm

Question

I've got a motion sensor which seems to work fine until the LUX level drops to about 44, at which point it continually sends status updates.  This continues for around 10 minutes before it gives up.

I only have the issue at around 40-45 LUX anything above this is ok and anything below also seems ok.

Any suggestions?

Bug #0002762

The light sensor seems to be reporting randomly when there is 1 or 2 or 3 lux difference at times (see the latest event log uploaded), despite parameters set to report only when differs 15 lux or interval 3600s.

  • It also adds in random values, which makes it useless:

Hmmm...so far have not seen random value beyond the normal (200+lux) hence scenes using brightness still work fine. Just the event logs get flooded at times with the 1-3 lux difference updates, which suspect leads to another bug raised about no logging intermittently.
