Smoke sensor out of the box

lukaszpiech

Question

Hi

Is there anything fibaro smoke sensor does out of the box to alarm me when there is fire? Except of signaling on the device itself? I created a LUA scene to send me a pushover message when there is smoke detected, but is this the only way? Does it not integrate into the alarm panel etc?

I do a pushover and send me a email when Fire detection is on.

Don't know if it can add to alarm panel. But i think there's lot of work to do to make the alarm panel perfect usable on these situations.

Till the alarm panel will have an option to add smoke sensor, here a simple solution -

Buy Z-Wave siren and create a scene (GUI/LUA) to active it when smoke detected.
