Danfoss LC-13 Wakeup

m-joy

Question

Hi there,

i am using ~10 Danfoss LC13 thermostats in my house. The standart polling time is set to 900s.

What is an acceptable polling intervall? Can i got for 1h polling ? Or is there a reason my its set so fast...

greetings

That has to be the standard wake up time. Every time the device wakes up, data exchange takes place. So if you set a different temperature in hc2, it can take up to 900 s before it takes effect. You can always push the middle button to wake up the device. Does this help?

I am controlling the temperature with the heating interface. So this means if the wakeup is set higher (lets say 1hour) it is possible that the values in my heating are only accepted after 1h?

In this case, a higher value would not make sense. But it would reduce network traffic....

Yes indeed, new values are assigned when device wakes up, so it can be 1 hour late when comparing to heating panel in most extreme case.
