Electric Radiator Question

Fulcrum1973

Question

Hi All,

I am looking at the HC2 as my hub for an opportunity but had a question regarding an electric radiator panel that my customer was asking to use.  Firstly my understanding is such, that an electric radiator has only 2 states, on and off.  If true then if I am using a panel in the room then as long as I have a sensor in the room (such as a Fibaro Motion Sensor) measuring temperature, I should be able to switch it on and off, hence making the panels integrated into the HC2.  Furthermore, to save cost I could wire to rad panel and use some sort of IP relay to turn the panel on/off then I would not require the use of an Z-Wave type of device.

So my questions are:

1. Does the above seem plausible?

2. Can someone recommend a IP/Relay that can switch on/off a rad panel up to 1.5kw

I thank you all in advance as I appreciate your support!
